Chocolate Almond Butter Cookies
Made with simple ingredients, these chocolate almond butter cookies are easy, healthy and tasty treat! They’re naturally gluten-free, dairy-free and free from refined sugars. These chocolate cookies have all the flavor and indulgence but none of the nutrient-void ingredients of traditional cookies. Plus, the recipe only takes about fifteen minutes to make, so they’re great if you’re short on time!

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the coconut flakes, almond flour, cacao, arrowroot and baking powder.
  3. Once mixed, whisk in the chocolate syrup, egg, unsweetened almond milk and almond butter. Stir until everything is combined. It will be sticky.
  4. Line a tray with parchment paper and use a spoon to portion out the batter onto the tray, pressing down slightly.
  5. Bake in the oven for ten minutes. Remove and let cool on the tray.
  6. These cookies are tasty by themselves. But, if you’re feeling fancy, drizzle a bit more chocolate syrup on top!
