  1. Melt the coconut oil in a large pot, over medium-high heat. Add the onions and sauté until translucent, 3-5 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for a minute more.
  3. Add ground beef and cook until meat is no longer pink, about 7-8 minutes.
  4. Once cooked through, add the chili powder, cacao powder, green pepper granules, cumin, oregano, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
  5. Add the crushed tomatoes, diced tomatoes, and beef broth. Stir well.
  6. Simmer gently for at one hour.
  7. Serve with a side salad or on top of a baked sweet potato.
